Good, easy read that offers a couple of ideas to F&I Managers with a little seasoning under their belt.

It's a quick (20 minute) read and not something I would consider revolutionary or mind-blowing. If you've ever come back from an F&I training course feeling rejuvenated and ready to set the world on fire with a couple of new ideas, expect the same here. It's less than $8 so it's probably worth the investment just for the motivation. Seasoned F&I Managers will read it and just accept a couple of new ideas to try and newbs will need a little background before being able to use the information completely.

If you are looking for a process from start to finish that you can implement today, there are better choices out there. I prefer this one as it is still fairly brief but outlines everything to get you from setting up the deal to menu presentation and some basic closes:

Simple and straight to the point!

I am a new F&I manager and I want to be the best, period. Training to be the best I found this book and Is amazing how everything in the book is right on the money. My mentor is very good at what he does, so I bought this book for him and he was impressed. The "system" that this book explains is the exact system he uses. Thank you for putting this advice in writing and help us F&I guys to improve our skills! GET THIS BOOK NOW!!

As an RT student, I found this book to be very helpful with analyzing cardiac rhythms & has great pictures to go along with it. It was easy to read & didn't insult my intelligence.

I was very irritated by the inability to see an EKG preview when evaluating an EKG book. Often that sort of blocked preview hides a graphically inferior book. Having taken a chance and purchased the book, I can now say that the Rhythm strips are of good quality, show up well in the iPad using Kindle program, and the book navigates relatively well. Information is well organized.

Shortcomings: too few actual 12 leads. Most are in the formate of a single beat only. Part of what a beginner needs to see a lot is complete EKGs in their usual clinical format to really get comfortable with reading quickly.

Overall a good book. I will be using this resource to teach the residents (IM, FP and transitional) that rotate with us.

If this book does not look like your particular cup of tea, a good second choice is the ridiculously titled but readable "The Only EKG Book You'll Ever Need." I used that myself during residency some time ago and still lend mine out to residents on the service. It can quickly bring a resident with EKG deficiency up to speed.

The quizzes in this (the above) book and overall volume of information look better for purpose of more in depth teaching.

This is a decent ECG instruction book. The one complaint I have is that the rates in the answer key do not always match up with the rate-finding method that the book says you should use for a particular type of rhythm. Other than that, a clear and concise reference/workbook.

Bucking the received wisdom of the wired elite, the authors collected in Reload: Rethinking Women + Cyberculture suggest that when we log on, we take our genders with us. Editors Mary Flanagan and Austin Booth balance penetrating critical theory with examples of fiction from authors like Octavia Butler, Amy Thomson, and C.L. Moore. The mix can be thought-provoking, but requires some quick shifting of mental gears to follow the arguments from essay to fiction and back again.

Exposing some cherished cybermyths as groundless or at least unproven (e.g., identity is less ephemeral than the utopians would have us believe), the anthology also makes a compelling argument simply by its uniqueness: if gender doesn't matter, then why do these writings feel so different from men's writing on cyberculture? Women writers, many of them lesbian feminists, have begun to explore the relationships between humans and machines. Along the way, they are rethinking how race, class, and gender affect technological change, especially given the growing gap between those with access to equipment and those without it. The entries in Reload 11 pieces of fiction and 17 critical essays assess the ways technology has, or will, affect female life. Take, for example, the notion that cyberspace levels the playing field by allowing users to don whatever identity they choose. According to contributor Lisa Nakamura, "when users are free to choose their own race, all were presumed to be white. And many of those who adopted nonwhite personae turned out to be white male users masquerading as exotic samurai and horny geishas." Chilling as this is, cyberspace remains a positive "place" for many users; writer Sharon Cumberland reminds us that women's chat rooms are often valued precisely because of the anonymity offered. Reload is filled with provocative and often contradictory glimpses into cyberculture. Women, Cyborgs, and Cyberculture

Whether you are merely intrigued by how women are represented in cyberculture, or doing serious research on how women are being affected by technology, this book is a great place to start. Not only does it provide a wide-ranging anthology of the best writing on the subject, including an amazing bibliography (I love bibliographies), but it also includes a number of excerpts from science fiction books portraying women and technology. Not only is this book giving me a lot to think about, it has provided a reading list it will take me quite a while to plough through. Well worth the price and a must for anyone writing seriously about cyberculture or cyberfeminism.
